Talk title: Catalyzed Magnesium Hydride for Reversible Solid-State Hydrogen Storage
Biography
Dr. Zhang has developed extensive expertise in the fundamental research of metal hydrides and complex hydrides for hydrogen storage and generation. As principal investigator, he has led projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC General Program and Young Scientists Fund), the State Foreign Expert Project, the Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation for Young Scientists, the Jiangsu Provincial University Fund General Program, and the Open Fund of the Key Laboratory of Advanced Energy Materials Chemistry (Ministry of Education). In academic service, Dr. Zhang serves as an Editorial Board Member of International Journal of Minerals, Metallurgy and Materials and as a Young Editorial Board Member of Journal of Magnesium and Alloys and Rare Metals. His research has resulted in five authorized Chinese invention patents and one Italian invention patent. He has published over 100 papers in high-impact journals, including Advanced Functional Materials, Nano Energy, Chemical Engineering Journal, Journal of Materials Science & Technology, Journal of Magnesium and Alloys, Green Energy & Environment, Journal of Materials Chemistry A, and Chinese Chemical Letters.
