Biography

Dr. Ziting Sun received her Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alberta, Canada, in 2026. Her research focuses on biofuel upgrading and co-processing for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), corrosion and materials degradation during biofuel storage and processing, and hydrogen-related degradation in storage and pipeline transportation systems. Her recent work investigates hydrogen permeation and materials performance in steels, supporting the safe transport and storage of hydrogen for low-carbon energy applications.
