Talk title: Hydrogen storage alloys for hydrogen energy application
Biography
Dr. Min Zhu is a professor of the South China University of Technology and Vice president of Chinese Materials Research Society. He received Ph.D degree from Dalian University of Technology in 1988, he had worked in Technical University of Berlin as Humboldt Research Fellow from 1993 to 1995, and Invited Research Fellow in NIMS in 2001. He served as vice president of the university from 2007 to 2023. Professor Zhu’s research interest includes: Hydrogen storage materials, Materials for metal-ion batteries, Mechanical alloying and Plasma milling. He has published more than 500 papers in peer reviewed journals with citation of more than 30000 times, authored and edited more than 10 books, book chapters. Professor Zhu serves currently as the member of the Steering Committee of International Symposium for Metal-hydrogen, Member of the Steering Committee of International Symposium for Hydrogen and Energy. He received Science of Hydrogen and Energy Award from International Symposium for Hydrogen and Energy in 2016
