Biography

Prof./Dr. Bin Dong is a professor in State Key Laboratory of Heavy Oil Processing, College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, China University of Petroleum (East China). He received his Bachelor’s degree majored in materials chemisty and Ph.D. majored in analytical chemistry from Lanzhou University in 2002.06 and 2008.06, respectively. He entered into China University of Petroleum (East China) in Qingdao as a faculty in 2008.07. He had been a visiting scholar in Marquette University from 2014.03 to 2015.03. His research interests have been focused on the rational design and electrocatalysts for water splitting for ALK, PEM and AEM water electrolyzers and environmental electrocatalysis. He has published more than 300 SCI papers including 10 ESI papers as first-author or corresponding author with H index 75. Prof. Dong has been Highly Cited Researcher in the field of Cross-Field – 2024 by Clarivate. Prof. Dong is an Editorial Board Member of EcoEnergy, Chinese Journal of Structural Chemistry and a Young Editorial Board Member of Molecular Catalysis, a member of International Society of Electrochemisty.
