Biography
Chang Won Yoon is a professor of chemical engineering at POSTECH. He received his PhD from the University of Pennsylvania and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of California, Berkeley. Before joining POSTECH, he led collaboraFve research on hydrogen storage and fuel cell integraFon and served as Head of the Center for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Research at Korea InsFtute of Science and Technology (KIST). He previously served as Director of the Hydrogen & Low Carbon R&D Laboratories at Research InsFtute of Industrial Science and Technology (RIST) and currently serves as an Advisory Professor at POSCO Holdings’ Hydrogen & Low Carbon R&D Laboratories, contribuFng to collaboraFon across industry, academia, and research insFtuFons. His research focuses on chemical hydrogen storage, including liquid organic hydrogen carriers and ammonia, and related catalysis.
