Talk title: The development of Hydrogen research in Indonesia

Biography

Deendarlianto is a professor at the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. He received his master and PhD degrees from Tokushima University, Japan at 2003 and 2006 respectively. Moreover he was an Alexander von Humboldt (AvH) Stiftung research fellow at Fluid Dynamics Institute of Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) Dresden- Germany from 2009-2011. Since 2013 until 2022, he served as head of the Center for Energy Studies, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia and involved in many international research collaborations. He was an also the vice chairman of energy commission of National Research Council, Republic of Indonesia (2015-2030). Presently his main research interest is investigation of multiphase flow aspects during the hydrogen production in an electrolyzer.
