Talk title: Challenges and Future Development Pathways for China’s Hydrogen Energy Industry
Biography
Mao Zongqiang is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the Institute of Nuclear and New Energy Technology, Tsinghua University. He serves as a Hydrogen Energy Education Expert for the International Partnership for Hydrogen and Fuel Cells in the Economy (IPHE) and Vice-Chair of the International Association for Hydrogen Energy (IAHE). Additionally, he is a Board Member of the International Academy of Electrochemical Energy Science (IAOEES) and an expert at the Beijing Future Science City Hydrogen Energy Technology Collaborative Innovation Platform.
He holds advisory positions including Consultant for the National Hydrogen Energy Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC309) and the Fuel Cell Professional Committee of the Chinese Energy Research Society, Chief Scientist for the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce New Energy Chamber of Commerce, and Expert Group Leader for the China Environmental Protection Federation Automobile New Energy (Hydrogen) Technology Application Professional Committee (CHCEP). He is also a consultant for State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC) and Snowman Co., Ltd.
In academic publishing, Professor Mao is the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Acta Energiae Solaris Sinica and Solar Energy, as well as a Guest Editor for the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy (IJHE). He is a
Distinguished Professor at Xi’an Jiaotong University and the Chief Green Innovation Expert for the China Association of International Investment Promotion.
Professor Mao has published over 160 articles in renowned domestic and international journals and conferences and has applied for multiple patents. He has authored more than 20 monographs.
